flight off ^^

went to Bangkok on 30th june..it was a 5 days 4 nights trip... consider holiday for me mah?? as i had started school on 2oth june..
it was the first time that i happens to travel by plane ... excited!!! ^^
airline was jetstar *(it wasnt bad but the sits are closely pack,3 by 3 sits & it was a small plane--- scared men!!)
however, if next time happens to travel by plane... think will go for a bigger one... feel better bah...
the weather wasnt that hot as what i've heard before i went. it was somehow like singpore..humid n warm...
hotel was asia hotel... to me it was good already as it was a only a 3 stars one..wow, the aircon super cold men... even if you adjust to the low button... inside the hotel cold, then outside the hotel warm... tt's what make me fall sick... guess my immune system is getting weak le...flu,cough,headache coming up le...
this trip wasnt a package. but had contacted one of the local agent to brought us around for a day..ended up only for half day ... then went to shopping again..(btw, that was what most of the tourist did)
this trip, the most important thing was the MAP and cash$ of course! without them, i think we will be lost le..
wow, the currency exchange was S$1 = thai baht 24+... oh! that means the stuff down there was to be cheap loh.. indeed it was lah... most of the stuff, especially the clothings was around thai baht 199..roughly S$8+..in singapore, if you bought a piece of clothes.. the least it will cost u around S$10+ .. comparing the prices... i think it is much more cheaper le... especially you bought a lotz..
lucky, the hotel that we stayed in was near to a few shopping malls n streets stalls... save us the money to spend on travelling n time too.
if you think that the taxi rate there was expensive... wrong if you request the driver to go by metre..(as my point of view)
not only taxi as one of the transportation. but also motor-taxi, buses, MRT, skytrains, totochak(dont know how to spell).. it was some kind of vehicle that it much smaller that runs by motor and not totally cover with the metals like what cars do. wow, experience it, indeed a bit scared at first, but after that not really le..( btw, u have to grap tight to the side) it was faster than what i think.
the street names?/? dont really know how to prounce ... but luckily there was map to guide. haha.. my sis told me that the words to her looks like tamil words.. lol.. a bit bah.. also, not all thai speak english.. so sometimes , u have to use hand signs or the map to point out things..i can remember a security guard who dont understand english.. but he was friendly to us without showing face...to me it was nice..
siam centre, discovery centre, chatuchak..n some that i forgotten the name le.. WOw! chatuchak.. that was the most popular shopping place the most locals & tourists would go.. it was supper dupper large .. and at any spot it was always crowded.. everywhere damn packed man.. made me feel like going to be dehydrated le .. it was some sort like a pasa malam whereby it opens during ONLY weekends... no wonder so pack lah! some more it was already packed after an hour of opening .. inside, i guess there was more than five hundards of shops... incredible right... but indeed , if you view the market from the skytrain there... it was much more larger than 3 kallang stadium.. & see the carpark.. waa .. it was a stun look...
if want to bargain when you buy things, i guess chatuchak will be the best bah..lol
haha, went there saw, kevin (daqiu in tong xin yuan, ex-933 dj) ... also.. a lady beside him...haha. maybe... lol.. he was looking at shoes... the lady wasnt bad looking ... went to a shop selling leather shoes..was amaze by the owner.. she could speak hokkien! n a bit of chinese...wow! the 1st person that could communicate better..a friendly lady too.
i think the food in the food court dont really suits my taste... coz i find the smell a bit funny.. but to my sis... it is smelly... only the fast food & resurants much more suitable for me bah..
the delicates were mostly sweet or spicy or sour...
i rememer i've tried the seafood soup with rice...waa... damn sour n spicy.. i can even clearly see what was the soupbase ingredients.. GINGER!! but it was much towards sour... also, tried the dessert, mango with sticky rice... it was a nice combination... nice colour that make you eat it.coconut ice-cream taste good too... but not young coconut drink.. ( but my sis always order it during meals)
floating market--whereby people sell homehade handcrafts & some fruits on their boats(looks like sampan to me)... but now not much left le.. mostly the poorer once still living there bah...also, temples chao lotz ... in Bangkok ... about 350 then in the whole country, much much more, of course..
went to a street call chinatown... thought it might be like singpore's chinatown BUT not really.. as mostly down the street, it was selling food, especially seafood... and mostly, they were cooking at the pavements.. to me i think i will still consume it if the food were nice. but some people might find it dirty ...
haha.. lotz of wondering stray dogs down almost any streets...mostly fat once man... funny... & most of them walk very slow & dont attack people .. relief!1!
the locals down there..like wont become fat one... could hardly see one fat person.. (maybe is their food that is so spicy... but tomyum soup was indeed nice)(as what my dad's thought too..haha)
went to their internet cafe, it wasnt that expensive ... lol..
thought of going for thai massage but.. scared of pain then didn went.. but my dad & sis's boyfriend went... then they said was pain but a nice experience.. if went there next time, i think i will try bah.
but be careful of some 'hei dian' there should be a lot bah... i guess...
of course.. went to watch ' ren yao' show.. it was nice.. cant really see any flaws on the physical looks... but the way they walks , i thnk can see some clues about it le... after that went to watch tiger show...(eragh.. felt disgusted--- never wish to watch in my life)
back in the hotel..tv channel was always tuned to MTV channel..coz dont understand the language
seen people protesting in front of the government house...it wasnt a big one but was terrified to see that... luckily we were inside the vehicle..if not...
heard that not all of the men need to go for NS... it is according to what colour of vote they got ... i think its all by luck...
also...one thing that i was confused was about giving tips most of the time when they provide service to the people... even at the airport.. haiz... does thailand develop le ma?/? or still developing... coz some of the places looked very old and torned, could see longs chunks of wires down the streets.. i thought the once that i seen i malaysia were the most le but...
anyway, on the way back, my ears feel better than reaching bangkok due to the air pressure...
back home was died tired ... as it was night flight..manage to sleep round 2+am..next day went to school...haiz

*to me, i feel like flight was like taking MRT ... coz not much movement...but i think a larger plane will feel more secure bah.

*if air enters your ears, difficulties hearing ..then cover the nose & blow hard & you will feel the air being push out.. then can hear clearing le..
if this happens on the plane.. keep repeating it.. if not ur ears will be very pain..(not all people will experience this situation)

*lolz... afterall, a wonderful trip... no time wasted.. wish to travel to another country 2 yrs later...^^so have to work part-time le...
